How often should you change your toothbrush?

May 20 • 1 minute read

The American Dental Association recommends switching to a new tooth brush every 3-4 months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed or if you have been sick. Including mouth ulcers.  If you don’t change it, you may be at risk for getting sick and not getting the plaque off your teeth, and gums will not be as healthy.  The average tooth brush has up to 1.2 million bacteria particles which can hide in the bristles, although most bacteria are not harmful.  So keep your teeth at their cleanest and healthiest by changing your soft tooth brush on a regular basis. Your general health depends on you. Be proactive!
